Thanks to Angelo for letting me copy paste his blog Link to his blog: https://angelo-regentsmedia.blogspot.com/2023/02/storyboard-music-video.html  This is the story board I made for our group. It underlines most of the shots that were going to do in the actual music video along with angles, movement, composition, plot and etc SCENE 1 / 0s - 12s  Opening Sequence Establishing Shot  Night Time , Starry Sky Background  The word ‘Ghost Town’ Would appear Cam would be handicam / shaky. Following the Lyrics, I’d show the Star filled sky. The Handicam or Shaky camera + Filters I hope would match the nostalgic feeling that the first 12s of the song would have. This is to set the mood of the audience.  Lyrics : “Some day, some day Some day I'll, I wanna wear a starry cr own” SCENE 2 / 13s - 35s Beach Scenes & Nostalgic Scenes  Long Shots ,Quick cuts on the beach and Hanging out with Friends. Done in a handycam style with a Bright Sky, ‘Hopeful Feeling’, Sunrise ( if possible ). Initi

Disney's media regulation (Self betterment) (Pinocchio)

Q uestion: Analyze the way contemporary media regulation is affected by it's period Media regulation has changed by a lot since the 1940s mostly due to society and it's so ever changing values on what is allowed to shown and what is not. A prime example of this can be seen when comparing the old classic Pinocchio movie made by Disney back in the 1940s with the new real life adaption released in 2022. Since the last 82 years media regulation has changed a lot for starters they much stricter now then they were before and a lot of things has been deemed much more offensive now then it was almost a century ago, these rules can be seen applied in the Pinocchio movie and especially in the "fun land donkey transformation scene" back in the 1940s adaptation there was beer and it was being drank by children which was pretty minor back then but now due to alcohol being a bad influence especially towards children Disney opted to change it into root beer instead in the new 2022

Indonesian media regulation (Valve apps and PayPal)

Question: Analyze the challenges of regulating media in the digital age. Regulating media can be a tricky thing and this is more evident now with the invention of the internet as because of it media is much harder to regulate properly. An example of this going wrong is the ban of several platforms such as Steam, PayPal, Origin, Yahoo, Epic Games, etc. in Indonesia as they did not met the requirements standards of the Indonesian censorship which was written by Kominfo, the rules states and I quote.  "In line with the rules, companies deemed “Private Electronic System Providers” must register with the government’s database to operate in the country, or otherwise face a nationwide ban. Indonesia gave companies until July 27th to comply and has since banned those that haven’t.".  After the news broke out of these bans people started to bombard Kominfo for their rash decision making as by banning platforms such as PayPal and Steam Kominfo has stripped people of their ability to

Chinese media regulation (Friends)

Question:  Media regulation  'how media regulation has failed everyone' how far do you agree with this statement? Media regulation has failed many people several times over the past few years, and this is more evident in China as they have been known to censor most foreign and local content if they do not meet they're high censorship standards. An example of this can be seen when Friends a show released by Bright/Kauffman/Crane Productions (which is in association with Warner Bros. Television.) in 1994 and was originally aired by NBC, which was then aired in China for the 2nd time by Youku a Chinese streaming platform, but this time they would heavily censor it to the point where it's barely recognizable from the original, this type of censorship could lead to massive amounts of misinformation and could lead people to do illegal things such as pirating it just to see the uncensored version, in addition to censoring some dirty jokes from Friends they also censor LGBTQ+ c

In order to create meaning i have taken inspiration from multiple works of media most of them music videos and movies that with their analogies, styles, camera shots have succeeded in representing themes i want to also represent in the video. Namely depression (along with the decent into depression) & dependence on medication. One of my first inspiration is the Stair Analogy used in the movie Joker (2019) In the movie every-time the character is seen in a crisis or suffering a negative emotion we see him descending down a flight of stairs in a dark setting , in contrast positive emotions and uplifting scenes are represented with him going up a flight of stairs. This way stairs are effectively a metaphor for his feelings and thus can be used for the music video as the song describes low parts before its lyrics start expressing a recovery process. The image of stairs can be implemented not only in our music video but also in our digipak. I have scouted some locations with sizeable s
